Etnia Barcelona. The colourful hand made acetates make each frame unique and are a great expression of personalities – there’s something for everyone.
Hoya Workstyle Space (adapted for Golf). This is a very versatile lens which can be adapted for Golf giving Clients excellent distance vision whilst at the same time allowing you to see clearly when putting too. With the addition of Sensity, it even protects your eyes from UV Radiation.
I love working at Igoe Optometrists. I really enjoy the time I can spend with each patient to find out about their life and help with their eyewear and eye health. I also love the great range of brands we have in store, so there’s always something for everyone. Being independent, I enjoy the freedom to be able to find solutions for people that wouldn’t be available in the multiples.
Spending time with my family and watching Sports, especially Football. I like to keep fit and go running when I can. I enjoy music and going to gigs.

I really like the Tom Ford range. I myself wear a Tom Ford and found I was spoilt for choice when trying to choose as the range of frames look and feel to a high quality.
My favourite lens has to be Miyosmart. It is always satisfying giving a patient their new prescription or recommendation knowing it will make a difference to their day to day life.Miyosmart not only corrects a child’s vision but the idea that is can prevent progression of the child’s prescription and lower their risk of eye conditions in adulthood is even more rewarding.
I love the team I work with and the ethos of the company. We all work together to give each patient the best experience, eye exam and advise about eye health and visual correction. The level of care is reflected in the feedback from patients which is very rewarding.
I like keeping active, lots of time outdoors walking and running with my puppy.

Etnia. A very versatile range that includes some colour and different style. A wide range for different face shapes and skin tones. Very good quality.
Workstyle screen with HVLL. A very advanced near vision lens that helps with modern day tasks that will need different working distances, from working on screens to reading to cooking. Including the HVLL coating helps with stoping reflections off artificial lights and a scratch warranty that if you’re slightly heavy handed or they are on and off a little more it gives you a safety net.
Being able to spend quality time with the customers. Finding out about them and pinpointing solutions that can solve any issues or better their lifestyle i.e. from picking the right lenses, choosing the best frames or offering the best health care service like a iclean.

Hoya Workstyle with Sensity – This lens suits my job to be able to see close up and across the office. When I’m sitting at my desk these lenses protect my eyes with the large window letting in the sun shine.
Meeting and helping people, both new patients and old. A lot of patients I have known for years and it’s good to see them grow up and go on to have their own lifes. I love being a familiar face for our older patients many of whom have been with us for years.

Our facilities also include an OCT scan at additional cost – so we can detect serious eye conditions up to five years earlier than a normal test.
